NAAC 'A' for Meerut agri varsity: Guv fetes teachers
LUCKNOW, June 19 -- The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, got Grade A from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the first attempt. Governor and chancellor of the university, Anandiben Patel met the teachers of the university in Lucknow on Wednesday and congratulated them on this achievement.
This meeting was aimed to celebrate the university getting grade 'A' by the NAAC, Bengaluru. The team expressed gratitude to the governor for the guidance, inspiration and continuous monitoring and called it the basis of the success of the university.
In her address, the governor congratulated the university and said that this is the result of the collective efforts of the institute's team. It is necessary to think about how the university lost the best grade and a plan should be made to overcome it.
"Identify your shortcomings yourself and improve them, so that no one else can point out your shortcomings. It is the basic responsibility of the university to keep innovating and find solutions to problems through research," she said....
