Prayagraj, March 17 -- A woman and her teenage son were found murdered inside an under-construction house in Pratapgarh on Monday morning, police said. The victims, identified as Shivpatti Devi, 40, and her son Aurabh Maurya, 14, were allegedly killed by crushing their heads with a sharp-edged weapon while they were sleeping. According to police, the bodies were discovered around 10 am when a mason arrived at the house for work. He found the outer door open and saw the blood-stained bodies inside, after which he alerted neighbours and informed the police.
