LUCKNOW, Oct. 7 -- Overcast skies over the state capital brought rain on Monday afternoon in few areas of the city, including Gomti Nagar, Vidhan Sabha Marg, Lalbagh and Hussainganj. Lucknow recorded 1.2 mm rainfall. After the current spell of rain subsides, the weather is likely to become dry with the rains subsiding in western Uttar Pradesh from October 7 and in eastern Uttar Pradesh from October 8. The forecast for Lucknow is a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of thunder and light rain during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. The state forecast is rain/thundershower very likely at isolated places over the state.
