She said it would be better if the budget announcements are implemented in timely manner and do not remain merely on paper. The BSP chief also demanded accurate data on the ground implementation of last year's budget Reacting to the budget, the BSP chief wrote on her official X handle, "The 2026-27 budget presented today in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly appears to be more appealing and less focused on the actual upliftment of the people and development of all sectors of society and the state.
