Missing Haridwar boys found in Haryana: Cops
Haridwar, Dec. 18 -- Four students studying at a madrasa in Haridwar district, who were reported missing on Monday were traced and safely recovered from Ambala Cantonment in Haryana, police said on Wednesday.
Police added that the four boys, all aged around 15 years, were students at a madrasa in Alawalpur.
After an initial search in nearby areas and inquiries with relatives yielded no information, the parents lodged a complaint at the Pathri police station. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under Section 137(2) (kidnapping) of the BNS.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Pramendra Dobhal said, "During the investigation, the team received a clue that the boys were last seen at Aithal railway station. Subsequently, the railway department and the Government Railway Police were alerted, and CCTV footage was examined."...
