Meerut, Dec. 24 -- On the 143rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, Bulandshahr district received a significant development boost. Uttar Pradesh's Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 10 development projects worth over Rs.20.65 crore in the Shikarpur Assembly constituency, while participating in a programme from his official residence in Lucknow. The minister said that Chaudhary Charan Singh, a son of western Uttar Pradesh, dedicated his life to farmers, rural India and social justice.
