LUCKNOW, Oct. 29 -- Sixteen trainees of the Regional Staff Training and Research Centre here in Aliganj, who secured first place in the All-India Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) Examination 2024-25, were feted on Tuesday by Kapil Dev Agarwal, minister of state (independent charge) for vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship. He also honoured 15 trainees selected at the institute level during a ceremony held on the Instructor Training of Trainers campus in Aliganj. Director (technical) DK Singh was presented with a certificate of appreciation for his leadership and efforts in earning the institute national recognition. Earlier this month, trainees from nine of the institute's ten trades clinched first place in the all-India competition organised by the government of India.
