India, May 30 -- Singer Miley Cyrus surprised her fans and left them nostalgic at a recent event in Los Angeles (USA), when she sang The Climb from her 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie. This was a fan-only intimate listening event, where the singer debuted her ninth album to around 100 members in the audience. The chosen few were invited by Miley commenting on their social media videos. The 32-year-old, dressed in archival Mugler, had an impromptu singing session for her fans on a makeshift stage, reports Variety. She sang an acoustic rendition of The Climb and her Grammy-winning single Flowers. She described it as "one of the most exciting songs I've ever gotten to put out into the universe". Also present at the event was her mum, Tish Cyrus, and actor Anya Taylor-Joy. This event comes close on the heels of the singer getting vulnerable at The Zane Lowe Show, where she revealed that she suffers from Reinke's edema, a condition that causes swelling in the vocal cords. This condition affects her vocal performance, making it hard for her to go on long tours. "It's a part of my unique anatomy," she said, adding that it gives her the husky voice. "I have this large polyp on my vocal cord, which is giving me a lot of the tone and the texture that has made me who I am, but it's extremely difficult to perform with, because it's like running a marathon with ankle weights on," she said.htc...
