PRAYAGRAJ, July 6 -- In a major opportunity for job seekers, a 'Rojgar Mahakumbh' (Mega Employment Fair) is set to be organised on August 12 at the Nehru Gram Bharati Deemed University (NGBU) campus in Hanumanganj. The event is being held under the joint initiative of the Regional Employment Office, Prayagraj, and Nehru Gram Bharati University, informed officials. More than 45 reputed private companies from across the country are expected to participate in the fair, collectively offering over 8,000 job openings across various sectors. The recruitment drive will be open to candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, including high school, intermediate, graduation, diploma, ITI, B.Tech, MBA, BCA, MCA, BPharma, and postgraduate qualifications, they added. Providing details on Saturday, assistant director (Employment), Rajeev Kumar Yadav, said that 1,685 positions will be available for candidates who have completed high school, while 1,360 positions are reserved for intermediate pass-outs. Graduates will have access to 965 positions, diploma holders to 550, and ITI-certified candidates to a significant 2,880 positions, he added. For more advanced qualifications, 210 vacancies would be for BTech graduates, 110 for MBA degree holders, 10 each for BCA and MCA graduates, 40 for BPharma, and 250 for postgraduates, he said. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range between Rs.10,000 and Rs.25,000, depending on the role and qualifications. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age to be eligible for recruitment. Job placements will be offered in several key cities, including Noida, Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram, Lucknow, and Prayagraj.
