Meerut, July 27 -- The quiet village of Pastra, nestled on the edge of Meerut's Jani, is mourning the untimely and heroic death of Lalit Kumar, a 20-year-old Agniveer jawan who was killed in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Friday afternoon. Two others were injured in the blast. Lalit was cremated with military honours on Saturday.
