PRAYAGRAJ, May 5 -- Taking reinvestigations further, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of Commander Work Engineer Satyendra Narayan Mishra, who was killed on March 29, was joined by forensic experts from Lucknow. As part of the state medico legal cell (Special Cell), the experts recreated the crime scene at the high-security Air Force zone in Bamrauli to aid the ongoing investigation. The crime scene was recreated in the presence of forensic experts from Prayagraj, the SIT, local police and Air Force officers. During the investigations, the entire process was also videographed. The reconstruction was based on the statements of the arrested accused, physical evidence recovered from the scene, and CCTV footage. During the crime scene recreation, a young man enacted the role of the accused based on the confession given during the investigation. Carrying a bag similar to the one described by the accused, he approached the Air Force boundary, climbed a tree adjacent to the wall, and used a branch to reach the top. From there, he retrieved a rope from his bag and descended the boundary wall by securing the rope to the iron fence above. Once inside the premises, he proceeded to the residence of Engineer Satyendra Narayan Mishra and knocked on the door. At that moment, the window of Mishra's room opened from the inside, and the assailant fired a shot directly through it, fatally striking the engineer. On the day of the murder, police and forensic team had found empty cartridge shells from inside the room. The investigation also focused on how the empty cartridge shells ended up inside the room, exploring this angle to determine the exact sequence of events during the shooting....
