LUCKNOW, June 2 -- Medical experts from Uttar Pradesh and other states discussed treatments and techniques to prevent this double threat of diabetes and heart diseases during the day-long Cardio-Diabetic Conclave organised by Helping Hearts Foundation in a city hotel on Sunday. Senior heart specialists presented their opinion on some special cases by presenting them during the event. The conclave under the guidance of renowned cardiologist Dr Nakul Sinha. In the first part of this conclave of experts, Jyoti Sinha, the secretary of Helping Hearts Foundation, organised an awareness programme about what common measures can be taken by the general public to avoid this double threat of heart diseases and diabetes. In the programme, Dr. Bhupendra Tripathi, the deputy director of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, was the chief guest. Senior medical experts Dr Sushil Gupta and Dr Neeraj Bhasin talked about the causes, symptoms, remedies and treatment of diseases like heart diseases and diabetes, as well as practical measures to maintain our overall health i.e. physical, mental and emotional balance. Similarly, Dr Tiny Nair from Trivandrum, Dr Srinivas from Hyderabad, Dr Rajiv Agarwal from Meerut, Dr Sushil Gupta, Dr Aditya Kapoor from SGPGIMS, Lucknow and Dr Rishi Shukla from Kanpur also shared their thoughts....
