Maurya vows strict action in banned cough syrup case
VARANASI, Nov. 30 -- Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Saturday said the banned cough syrup racket is under investigation, and strict action will be taken against anyone found involved. He made the remarks while responding to queries about codeine-containing cough syrups during a press conference in Varanasi.
On opposition to the SIR of voter rolls, Maurya said the revision is underway, and the government fully supports and cooperates with the process.
"After the Bihar victory, we will now form a government in West Bengal as well. Good governance and rapid development have become the hallmarks of our administration."
