AGRA, June 3 -- The Mathura police on Monday paid tributes to martyr Mukul Dwivedi, the then SP City Mathura and Santosh Yadav, the then in-charge of Farah police station, who lost their lives on June 2, 2016, during a clash with encroachers led by self-styled godman Ram Vraksh Yadav. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Mathura, Shlok Kumar, along with other officials and police personnel, observed a two-minute silence and paid floral tributes at the portrait of the brave police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty. It is worth recalling that on June 2, 2016, over two dozen people, including two police officers, were killed and around 40 others injured during violent clashes that broke out as police attempted to evict approximately 3,000 encroachers from Jawahar Park in Mathura. A cache of arms and several spent AK-47 bullet casings were recovered by police from the site of the clashes in Mathura....
