Agra, May 6 -- The death of about a dozen monkeys in a village of Goverdhan area in Mathura has concerned locals. Police have sent the carcasses for a post-mortem examination to know the exact cause of death. On suspicions raised by the locals, the police have taken a priest of foreign origin, residing at the temple into custody. "Information was received about the death of about a dozen monkeys in village Anyor of Goverdhan area in Mathura. To know the cause of death, the police has sent the carcasses to the veterinary university in Mathura and on the basis of findings further action will be taken," said SP, rural, Mathura, Trigun Bisen and added the priest was seen using an air gun to drive away the monkeys. htc...
