Mansi to lead UP's challenge in b'minton
	
		
				LUCKNOW, Sept. 16 -- Top seeded and local challenger Mansi Singh will begin her campaign against qualifier Madhumita Narayan of Maharashtra in the All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament on Tuesday when the event begins, at the Uttar Pradesh Badminton Academy here.
The main draw was prepared with 64-64 seeds in men's and women's singles, 32-32 seeds in mixed doubles, men's doubles and women's doubles. Delhi's Jinpaul S in men's singles, Tamil Nadu's Naveen P and Lokesh V in men's doubles, Karnataka's Shikha Gautam and Ashwini Bhatt in women's doubles and Karnataka's Asith Surya and Amrita P in mixed doubles will be the top seeds.
UP's Amolika Singh has been seeded 13th in women's singles, whereas local doubles players Divyam Arora and Arsh Mohammad have been seeded 10th in the men's doubles. UP's Sonali Singh and Telangana's Anagha Rai have been seeded fifth in women's doubles whereas the duo of Amolika Singh and Kerala's Mehran Riza is seeded 11th.
As far as the performance of Uttar Pradesh shuttlers are concerned, they are expected to be excellent in the tournament. UP's team under the leadership of Mansi Singh and Amolika Singh look strong in women's singles. At the same time, the tenth seeded pair of Divyam Arora and Arsh Mohammad is also ready to challenge.
In the main draw, apart from Mansi Singh and Amolika Singh in women's singles, Tanisha Singh and Aradhya Kushwaha have got wild card entries, whereas in the men's singles, Abhyansh Yadav and Rajan Yadav are given wild cards.
In men's singles, top seed Jinpaul S of Delhi will face qualifier Dhyan Santosh of Karnataka. In women's singles, Amolika Singh of UP will face Simran Chaudhary. Tanisha Singh, Taranjit Kaur and Aradhya Kushwaha of UP will also face other qualifiers....
