Manager arrested for smuggling blood units
Jaipur, Jan. 31 -- The manager of a blood bank was arrested on Thursday after police busted a blood smuggling racket in Sawai Madhopur earlier this week, officials said. His arrest follows the apprehension of three other people for smuggling 225 units of blood at Rs.3,31,500 from a blood donation camp. DSP, Jobner circle, Priyanka Vaishnav, said, "Devendra Kumar, the manager of the blood bank was arrested on Thursday after a primary investigation. We have found his involvement in the smuggling racket and cracking deals with the suppliers."...
