MEERUT, June 3 -- A court in Moradabad district has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl seven years ago. Special judge, SC/ST (PA) Act court, Moradabad, Sandeep Gupta II also slapped the convict Sanjeev with Rs.15,000 fine on Saturday, said special public prosecutor Anand Pal Singh on Monday. The case dates back to December 19, 2018, when a villager under Bilari police station area in Moradabad district lodged a complaint with police, alleging that the accused, a resident of the same village, had raped his minor daughter.
