PRAYAGRAJ, July 5 -- A man was murdered allegedly over a financial dispute in full public view in the Naini area here on Friday, police said. The crime scene, an intersection, is only a few metres away from a police booth. The DCP (Trans Yamuna) and Karchana ACP inspected the spot, along with an SOG team. Also, a suspect was arrested and the knife that was allegedly used to slit the person's throat was recovered. According to the police, Mohammad Shebu (35) of the Mohabbatganj area of Naini, who worked as a driver, had lent Rs 50,000 to one Bajrang Yadav of his locality. Around 4 pm, Bajrang Yadav's son Govind Yadav stabbed Shibu to death. After the incident, Shibu's relatives staged a protest and blocked the Prayagraj-Rewa highway.
