PANAJI, July 1 -- A 46-year-old man was arrested on Monday for attacking a 17-year-old boy with acid, leaving him grievously injured in North Goa district on Monday, police said, adding that the accused believed that the accused had links to the recent death of his daughter. "The victim was waiting for the bus at around 8.50 am on his way to college when assailant arrived with a bucket of acid and flung it towards him resulting in severe burns on one side of his face," an official said.
