JHANSI, Dec. 19 -- Special Pocso court judge Mohd Nyaz Ahmad Ansari sentenced a 44-year-old man to 20 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1,05,000 for raping his 11-year-old daughter. As per ADGC Vijay Kushwaha, the incident happened in a village falling under Sakrar police station on November 3, 2022. The victim happens to be the girl child from the second wife of the accused. As per the complaint lodged by the victim's mother, the girl was alone in her house while she had gone to work on the farmland. Meanwhile, the accused entered the house, outraged the girl's modesty and warned her of dire consequences if she revealed about it to anyone. Later in the evening, the girl narrated her ordeal to her mother, after which a complaint was filed at Sakrar police station under Sections 376(2), 376 AB, 504, 506 of the IPC and Section 5/6 of Pocso Act. During the trial, the accused was proclaimed guilty of the heinous crime committed by him. The court sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 1,05,000.
