Man found murdered, father accuses brother-in-law
PRAYAGRAJ, Dec. 15 -- A youth from Kakarhai village under Sarai Akil police station area was brutally murdered, and his body was found stuffed in a sack and dumped in a dry canal in Mawai village in Kaushambi. It is alleged that his brother-in-law, along with two accomplices, committed the crime.
The recovery of the body on Sunday morning caused panic in the area. Based on a complaint filed by the deceased's father, a case has been registered, and the police have launched a search for the accused.
As per reports, Surendra (30), resident of Kakarhai Majra, worked as a welder in Saudi Arabia. He had returned about three months ago. His father said that Surendra left home on his motorcycle on Friday night. When he did not return for a long time, a search was launched. On Sunday morning, his body, stuffed in a sack, was found lying in a dry canal in Mawai village. The deceased had head injuries. It is suspected that he was hit with a heavy object. His motorcycle was also found near the body. After receiving information about the incident, SP Rajesh Kumar, ASP Rajesh Kumar Singh, DSP (Chayal) Abhishek Singh, along with police force and forensic team, reached the spot. After preliminary investigation, police sent the body for postmortem.
The DSP said that the deceased's father has filed a murder case against his son's brother-in-law, Guddu, and his two accomplices and a search was underway to nab the accused....
