Man dies after falling from under-construction bridge
PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 4 -- A 59-year-old assistant engineer with the public works department died after falling from a 30-ft high under-construction bridge near Kalash Square in Prayagraj on Thursday morning. The engineer, Mithilesh Payasi, is believed to have fallen after feeling dizzy during his morning walk.
According to police, Mithilesh had gone out for a walk around 8:30 am. About half an hour later, his family was informed that he had fallen from the bridge. He was taken to Beli Hospital, where he passed away after nearly two hours of treatment.
Mithilesh was originally from Tapa village in Satna district, Madhya Pradesh, under the Rampur Baghelan police station. He had been living in Prayagraj for the past 25 years and was posted as an assistant engineer in PWD, Gorakhpur....
