PRAYAGRAJ, March 10 -- A municipal corporation contract worker died under suspicious circumstances after falling from the third floor of a rented house in Chakia Karbala under Khuldabad police station in Prayagraj, on Sunday night. Family members have alleged foul play, claiming frequent disputes between the deceased and his wife. Ranjit Singh, 50, resident of Kydganj and worked as contract lineman, lived with his wife, Kalpana and their three children in a rented room in Chakia Karbala. According to initial reports, Ranjit had an argument with his wife on Sunday night. During the altercation, he fell from the third floor under circumstances that remain unclear, sustaining critical injuries. He was rushed to SRN Hospital, where he died during treatment on Monday.
