Man commits suicide over marital dispute in Kaushambi
PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 5 -- A 32-year-old man, reportedly distressed over marital disputes, died by suicide after shooting himself with a licensed firearm in a village under Charwa police jurisdiction on Tuesday morning.
The deceased had returned from Delhi after a recent dispute with his wife. Family members said he was frequently troubled by personal disagreements.
On Tuesday morning, the man went to the upper floor of his house. When his sister-in-law asked him to freshen up, he allegedly shot himself in the neck with his father's licensed double-barrel gun and died before his family could reach him.
After receiving the information, CO (Charwa) Abhishek Singh along with the police force reached the spot. After investigation, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
