man beaten up on suspicion of cow smuggling dies
Bhopal, June 18 -- A dairy owner succumbed to his injuries early on Tuesday, 12 days after he and a friend were allegedly thrashed by cow vigilantes in Raisen district, said police. The incident occurred on June 5, when Junaid Qureshi, a dairy operator from Jinsi area of Bhopal, and his friend Arman travelled to Raisen to purchase cows. They were reportedly attacked by a group of men who accused them of transporting cows for slaughter.
Police arrested three men including and are searching for ten others involved in assault....
