Jhansi, Aug. 21 -- Police said two people were arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a Madhya Pradesh woman whose severed body was found in Jhansi's Todi Fatehpur area on August 13. The woman had been identified as Rachna Yadav, 35, of Mailwara in MP's Tikamgarh district. She was allegedly murdered by Sanjay Patel of Mahewa, his nephew Sandeep Patel, and another Deepak Ahirwar. Sanjay and Sandeep were in police's custody. Jhansi SSP BBGTS Murthy said Rachna's severed body was found in two sacks. Eighteen teams were formed as a probe in the case progressed. On Tuesday, police caught Sanjay and Sandeep. During interrogation, it was revealed that Rachna and Sanjay were partners, and she wanted to marry Sanjay. On August 8, Sanjay called Rachna and both of them went in a car along with Sandeep. The two men tried to convince Rachna that Sanjay could not marry her but she kept insisting.
