Lucknow's Govind bags silver medal in World Masters Tennis
LUCKNOW, March 20 -- Govind Maurya, a tennis player from Lucknow, made India proud, winning silver medal at the World Masters Tennis Championship held in Turkey. Maurya represented India in the 30+ age category as the team lost to Great Britain 0-3. India started off well, brushing aside USA 2-1 in the opening group stage encounter. Thereafter, they went on beating South Africa 3-0 in the second round before outclassing Turkmenistan 3-0 in the quarterfinal....
