LUCKNOW, Nov. 22 -- A 45-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her husband near here on Friday, police said. The couple was living in Madharmau under the Sushant Golf City police station limits. According to police, Nanhkau, the husband, argued with wife Nanhi for alcohol money. When she refused, he allegedly lost his temper and strangled her. Police reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Officers said the husband was believed to be a alcoholic and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
