LUCKNOW, Nov. 3 -- Notification for the Lucknow University Associated College Teachers' Association (LUACTA) elections was issued on Sunday. Polling will be held on November 17 (Monday) at Mumtaz PG College, said Mumtaz PG College's associate professor SP Tripathi who has been made election officer to conduct the poll. Only those teacher colleagues whose LUACTA membership fee has been received by the LUACTA president/general secretary/treasurer by November 10, will be authorised to vote. The voter list will be published on November 11 at 12 noon, said LUACTA in a press release. Any objections to the voter list are invited until 5 p.m. on November 12. Objections will be resolved by 11 a.m. on November 13. After that, the voter list will be published. No changes will be accepted after the final publication of the voter list, it added Voting will be held on November 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 pm at Mumtaz PG College, Daliganj. Nomination forms can be obtained from Mumtaz PG College, Lucknow office, on November 13 from 11 am to 1 pm. Candidates may file nominations on November 14 from 10:30 am to 2 pm at Mumtaz PG College. The facility of submitting the nomination form will be available both online and offline. To submit the online form, the filled form and the prescribed fee will have to be paid on the mobile/WhatsApp number 8318857588. Scrutiny of nominations will also be done on November 14 following which the list of all valid nominations will be published the same day. The candidates must be present in person to withdraw their nominations on November 15 from 10 am to 1 pm. Voters who cannot go to the polling station on the day of voting due to unavoidable reasons can exercise their right to vote through postal ballots for which the concerned teacher must be present in person at Mumtaz PG College where postal ballots will be cast on November 16 from 12 noon to 4 pm. There is one post of LUACTA president, three posts of vice presidents, one post of general secretary, three of joint secretaries, one of treasurer and one post each of representative library, physical education and faculty representatives in which one post will be from each faculty....
