Lucknow, March 26 -- "The nation has encountered several hits and misses in the direction of nation-building. While it has learnt to be multilingual and multi-caste at the same time, a disconnect of the middle class can be seen with the idea of nationalism where youth is interested in studying and getting employment abroad which is one of the major problems in nation-building," said former professor at Center for the Study of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), prof Anand Kumar, on Tuesday.
