VARANASI, Nov. 9 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said the new Vande Bharat Express trains will not only make travel comfortable and safe, but will also provide fresh impetus and strength to religious-cultural tourism, local employment and regional prosperity. Yogi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for gifting four new Vande Bharat trains to the nation. In a post on X, the chief minister wrote, "To fulfil the resolve of a 'developed India' and the economic progress of the nation, the journey of infrastructure development in Kashi, the beloved city of Lord Shiva, has received a new impetus today from Prime Minister Narendra Modi." "The prime minister today dedicated four state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express trains, including the Banaras-Khajuraho and Lucknow-Saharanpur, to the nation by flagging them off," he added. "These Vande Bharat trains will not only make travel comfortable and safe, but will also provide new impetus and strength to religious-cultural tourism, local employment, and regional prosperity," he said.
