The water works department (Jalkal) has prepared a detailed plan to prevent any disruption during the festival, according to a press release issued on Saturday. General manager (Jalkal) Kuldeep Singh said all three waterworks, overhead tanks and tube wells will operate at full capacity throughout the day. Water will be supplied directly from tube wells in all zones from 5 am to 9 am to meet peak morning demand.
