LUCKNOW, Nov. 18 -- A 17-year-old class 11 student from a private school in Lucknow, who suffered a severe head injury on November 10 after a basketball pole collapsed on him, is now showing steady improvement at King George's Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre. His recovery is being closely monitored through intensive ICU care and medication. According to a statement shared with the media, Dr Zia Arshad, head of the trauma ventilatory unit (TVU), said Akshay may be shifted to a ward in the coming days if his condition continues to improve. He added that further medical care and rehabilitation will begin once he is moved out of the ICU.
