Lko police seize properties of three gangsters
LUCKNOW, Dec. 21 -- In a crackdown on organised crime, the Lucknow police have ordered attachment of properties worth over Rs.45 lakh belonging to three gangsters under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, officials said on Saturday.
Police said the action was taken following final orders passed on December 19 by the joint commissioner of police (crime and headquarters), Lucknow. Among those whose properties were attached is alleged gang leader Rakesh Sharma alias Rakesh Kumar Sharma, 42, a resident of Mau district, currently living in Chinhat, Lucknow. htc...
