LUCKNOW, Nov. 17 -- Two-day literary festival Abhivyakti, organised by HQ Central Command, concluded in Lucknow. It was inaugurated on November 14 by Sunita Dwivedi, regional president of AWWA Surya Command. The event, led by Ruchira Sengupta, regional president AWWA, Surya Command, brought together writers, poets, artists, scholars and veterans from across the country, celebrating the power of storytelling and the shared experiences of Army families. The sessions covered a wide range of themes including military narratives, fiction, women empowerment, art and heritage. Day one featured the felicitation of Veer Nari Chitra Devi, the release of AWWA's annual journal Navchetna, a narration by writer Mehmood Abdi, a session titled "Celebrating Stories of Valour," a conversation with Capt Saxena, panel discussions, stand-up comedy, book launches, and readings. The day concluded with a soulful Sufi night. The second day opened with a heritage walk at La Martiniere College. A panel discussion, "Sarhad, Sena, Sahitya," set the tone for the morning.
