Listen to people's problems daily: CS to officials
LUCKNOW, Aug. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Shashi Prakash Goyal on Friday said the officers should take out at least two hours every day to listen to problems of the people and ensure that the issues concerning at least one or two of them are permanently resolved, said an official press release.
Goyal was addressing 19 trainee IAS officers of 2024 batch at Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management here.
He said the officers posted in the field should keep in touch with the public representatives and work to find a permanent solution to the people's problems.
The chief secretary said the officers should undertake visits to the spots of implementation of government schemes to know about the ground reality. He said the trainee officers should work firmly in an impartial manner to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream for Viksit Bharat-2047.
In another press statement, Goyal asked for people's participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The chief secretary said a target to hoist 4.60 crore flags has been set in the state.
In a video conferencing with the district magistrates, Goyal asked them to send six nominations from every district for the Padma awards....
