India, May 18 -- Alma Mater School organised a three day conference in association with IIMUN (India's International Movement to Unite Nations). IIMUN is a youth organisation of 26,000 youngsters who put together students' conference in 160 cities across the country. In these conferences they make the students aware and informed about the International affairs and also let the students have thoughtful debates and discussions on topics including current affairs, UN women, drugs and other burring issues. Thus the organisation gives a platform to youth to give solutions and resolutions to the world's affairs allowing them to emerge as leaders of tomorrow. Around 300 students from different schools of Bareilly, Rudrapur, Pilibhit and Badaun, participated. On the first day the opening ceremony was inaugurated by Col. Sunil Dhingra and Kuldeep Kumar, deputy superintendent of police along with the chairman of the school, Rajiv Dhingra, director, Pratyaksh Dhingra and vice principal, Shubhendu Dutta. The first day concluded with a cultural evening along with a band performance by Philips and his team. The second day of the conference was initiated with a discussion among the students which were divided into different committees viz. Counter-Terrorism Implementation task force, UN woman, Special summit on Nuclear Issues, Special session of Central Drugs Stand and Harry Potter along with International Council of Investigative Journalism with photographic coverage. The second day evening had a MUNCLAVE, a speaker session, which was headed by Dr. Manish Sharma, director general, Future group of Institutions Bareilly & Dr Shobha Mishra, ex. principal, KCKIC (Kishori Chand School). The speakers shared their success stories & lifetime experiences which students. The evening concluded with a dance DJ party which added another colour to the conference....
