LUCKNOW, Dec. 20 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will open online registration for 637 residential plots under its Anant Nagar housing scheme from December 20, offering a fresh opportunity to people waiting for plots in the state capital. According to the orders issued on Friday, the registration process will remain open till January 12, 2026, and allotment of plots will be done through a transparent lottery system. Applicants will be able to apply only through the official LDA online portal. The plots, ranging in size from 112.5 square metres to 450 square metres, are located in Akash Khand and Adarsh Khand of the Anant Nagar scheme, which is being developed on around 785 acres along Mohan Road. LDA vice chairman Prathamesh Kumar said Anant Nagar aims to fulfil the dream of owning a house for nearly 1.5 lakh people. He said the scheme is being developed on a grid pattern as per international standards, with wide roads and underground cabling to ensure uninterrupted power supply. A large part of the project will be developed as an EduTech City, while about 130 acres have been earmarked for parks and green spaces.
