LUCKNOW, Nov. 7 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended its festive discount offer till November 17 following an overwhelming response, with 974 flats booked on the 'first come, first served' basis, officials said on Thursday. Flats are available in Gomti Nagar, Jankipuram, Aliganj, Priyadarshini, Sharda Nagar, Devpur Para, and Kanpur Road schemes. LDA vice-chairman Prathamesh Kumar said the extension was made on public demand. Buyers will continue to get a direct discount of Rs.1-2 lakh on ready-to-move flats, along with an additional 3-6% rebate for making full payment within 45 to 90 days. The special offer, launched on September 22, covers flats priced between Rs.20 lakh and above Rs.75 lakh. Within just 45 days, nearly 1,000 flats were booked across various housing schemes....
