LDA demolishes illegal row houses in Lko
Lucknow, March 19 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) demolished nine illegal row houses in the Bijnor area of the state capital on Wednesday.
The action was taken following LDA court orders. The enforcement team carried out the drive in Aurangabad Khalsa under Bijnor police station limits. Structures built over around 9,500 sq ft were razed during the day-long operation.
Officials said the builder constructed the units without mandatory map approval. Legal proceedings were initiated, after which the LDA court ordered demolition. Zonal officer Ravi Nandan Singh said the action was taken as per court directions and all illegal structures were removed.
The case has raised concerns over how such large-scale construction went unchecked. htc...
