LCDC prog focuses on cracking real-world problems with math
Lucknow, Aug. 27 -- A week-long student development programme began at Lucknow Christian Degree College on Monday. It is being organised by the mathematics department of the college and students are being trained under the topic - 'Developing Mathematical Skills for Solving Real-World Problems'.
The inaugural session was held in the Fairfield Hall on Tuesday during which manager of the college RK Singh was the chief guest while officiating principal Prof Naveen Samuel Singh, and resource person statistics department of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Amit Kumar were also present. On day one, a session on 'Writing in LATEX' was delivered.
"The purpose of the programme is to equip students with sound knowledge and abilities required to utilise mathematical concepts and techniques in different contexts, both in academic and real world. It aims to enhance the problem-solving techniques, foster a deeper understanding of mathematical principles," Samuel Singh said.htc...
