Agra, July 12 -- A former president of the Mainpuri Bar Association was injured in a clash between lawyers in the Mainpuri district court premises on Friday, police said.They added that the clash, which allegedly took place between groups loyal to the former and present presidents, was over some financial matters. Superintendent of police Ganesh Prasad Saha said, "Initial investigation has revealed that the present president of Mainpuri Bar Association Avdesh Yadav and his supporters had some dispute with Saurabh Yadav, a former president. Saurabh was injured in the clash and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital," said the SP."Both groups had an altercation a couple of days ago, too. Police are investigating the matter, and prima facie it seems to be a dispute over funds," stated Saha.
