Lawyers abstain from work
Agra, Sept. 11 -- Lawyers in Mathura abstained from routine working against alleged police excesses on lawyers. They gave two days ultimatum to police and administration to resolve the issues or else they would launch protests and dharna.
The call was given by Bar Association of Mathura on Tuesday and in compliance lawyers boycotted court working on Wednesday. The decision was taken after emergency meeting held attended by office bearers and senior advocates in Mathura. Shiv Kumar Lavania, the secretary of Bar Association Mathura, said the police administration was not paying any heed to genuine issues raised by lawyers....
