lawmakers' AI training session on August 10
LUCKNOW, Aug. 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly proposes to hold a brief training session to train the legislators about artificial intelligence (AI) that will help them have special AI teams to try out smart tools that help with legal research, document checking and studying policies.
This will also help legislators use AI to write laws, new bills and spot legal problems, and compare proposed laws with similar laws in other states and countries.
Assembly speaker Satish Mahana, who presided over a meeting convened to review security arrangements for the monsoon session of the legislative assembly from August 11, said the training has been organised on August 10.
He said experts from IIT Kanpur would impart the training and interact with MLAs in a two-hour training session. Mahana said the legislative assembly's app would have an AI base. He said besides recognising members at entry points and marking their attendance, AI will also help members write speeches....
