LUCKNOW, July 3 -- Lucknow University has formed a Sri Lanka chapter of its alumni association in Colombo. The launch took place on Wednesday during an official visit by a university delegation led by vice-chancellor professor Alok Kumar Rai. The delegation met with alumni and honoured them at the inauguration ceremony of the Sri Lanka chapter. Professor Rai highlighted the importance of alumni connections in strengthening ties between the university and its former students, and in upgrading the university's global image.
