India, Jan. 3 -- Anupam Kher's last release Hotel Mumbai was his 501st film. But 35 years ago, he debuted with the Mahesh Bhatt directorial Saaransh (1984). A film that not only won him awards but also established him as a performer and as the saying goes... rest is history. Today, when Bollywood is remaking numerous hits, Kher, too, has a film in mind. "I would like to star in the remake of Saaransh but unlike in the original, where I played an old man, I would like to be an action hero!" says Kher, adding, "I workout and today, I am fitter than ever. A redux of that role would be wonderful. By action, I don't mean literal action stunts but he could be an ex-military man, who exudes strength, is capable and can take action when needed. He is not a helpless man who is pushed around. I even had a word with (Mahesh) Bhatt saab about this idea a year ago. Let's see what happens."...
