LUCKNOW, Nov. 30 -- King George's Medical University's Department of Critical Care Medicine marked its 9th Foundation Day on Saturday, celebrating the team's dedication and achievements. The department highlighted the Precision Medicine Unit (PMU), established in 2022, which provides rapid diagnostics and personalised critical care, setting a new standard for equitable treatment in Uttar Pradesh. Prof Avinash Agrawal presented the annual report, while Chief Guest Aparna U, Secretary, Medical Education, urged KGMU to lead the expansion of critical care services across the state. VC Prof Soniya Nityanand praised the department's work and envisioned the PMU becoming a global reference centre for personalised acute care.
