LUCKNOW, Aug. 7 -- The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky becoming really cloudy and one or two spells of rain on Thursday, exactly how the day panned out on Wednesday. Day and night temperatures will be around 32 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. On Wednesday, Lucknow received measuring 57.6 mm of rain. It rained quite heavily in the Transport Nagar area as compared to Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha Marg or Gomti Nagar. During the last 24 hours, Varanasi BHU received 54 mm rain which is highest in UP, Kanpur (IAF) recorded 45 mm rain, Barabanki 16.8 mm and Bahraich 15.8 mm. The state forecast is rain/thundershower very likely at many places over East Uttar Pradesh and at few places over West Uttar Pradesh.
