Lucknow, Dec. 6 -- Around 250 distinguished guests from Kashi, who arrived as part of the fourth edition of the Kashi-Tamil Sangam, were given a grand and traditional welcome in Ayodhya. Senior administrative officials welcomed all the guests, who reached the temple town from Varanasi via Prayagraj, in a traditional manner After arriving in Ayodhya, the guests first visited and worshiped Ram Lalla in the Ram Temple. Following this, all the guests proceeded to Hanuman Garhi. In the final phase of the programme, the guests were taken to Ram Ki Paidi, where they took part in Saryu aarti. The district magistrate of Ayodhya, Nikhil Tikaram, said guests enjoyed their visit to Ayodhya. All arrangements were made to make their visit comfortable. Earlier, the guests had visited Prayagraj where they were taken from the VIP Ghat on the banks of the Sangam on beautifully decorated boats to witness the holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati. Many also took a dip in the sacred waters and offered prayers. After the Sangam visit, the team paid obeisance at the Bade Hanuman temple, followed by visits to the Shankar Viman Mandapam and Swaminarayan Temples....
